Furthermore, users have the option to delete pins, share locations with themselves or friends, and access satellite imagery for detailed land terrains via Apple's map system. The map view also integrates a compass that aligns with the iPhone's direction, aiding in navigation during hunts.

The GPS function in the app is optimized for walking or slow driving speeds to enhance location sharing and assistance during hunts. It enables users to track drop times and calculate average tree times for future hunts. For competition hunters, the app allows logging of scorecards and results, with wins recorded for each hunting association.

The latest update adds connectivity to the Coon Hunter Diaries Facebook page for sharing content, engaging in discussions, and receiving app-related tips. A new Coon Squaller feature has been introduced, along with an expense tracker to help users manage their costs effectively.
